From the 27th of October to the 6th of November, at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, the Italian Cuisine World Summit will take place.
It is the most influential event promoting Italian quality food & beverage and lifestyle in the world. The upcoming seventh edition is dedicated also to celebrate Dubai as an exciting and inimitable worldwide food destination and in particular as a world capital for the Italian cuisine.
The Italian Cuisine World Summit is promoted in collaboration with the best Italian restaurants in Dubai and itchefs-GVCI.com, a network of more than 2,500 chefs and culinary professionals working in 70 countries around the world and, among them, 25 of Italy’s top Michelin-starred chefs will arrive in the UAE.
Together with the best Italian restaurants in Dubai, the event brings top Italian food and wine producers, Michelin-starred chefs, culinary experts from Italy and food lovers to showcase, celebrate, promote and educate about traditional Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, as well as Italian fashion, design and lifestyle .
In this exquisite framework, an unprecedented Italian Summit Golfing Day will be hosted on the 3rd of November 2015 at The Address Montgomerie Golf Club.
A VIP tournament that will showcase great golf and the highest level of Italian Cuisine and Wines.
The privileged players will be treated at the holes of the five Italian Gourmet Stations with both tidbits prepared by four Italian Michelin-starred Master Guest Chefs of the Summit and some superb Italian wines. The same Chefs will prepare an unforgettable wine dinner after the tournament for up to 250 VIP guests , many of them invited by the prestigious Italian firms sponsoring the event. The whole day will be a tribute to the Italian luxury goods and services available in Dubai and the UAE .
2015 is the year for Italian taste in the world as a matter of fact, SVA International Golf Tour, an international golf tournament will see a series of competitions and events in Europe and in the UAE, with a special focus in Dubai. Italian taste is the leitmotif in this event.
Italian cuisine in the UAE: Michelin-starred chefs
Celebrated Italian chefs Enrico Bartolini, of Michelin two-starred Devero Restaurant in Cavenago di Brianza, in Italy, and Tony Lo Coco of Michelin one-star ‘I Pupi’ Restaurant in Bagheria Italy, arrive in Dubai this month to take up two separate guest residences at Roberto’s Restaurant & Lounge DIFC as part of the Italian Cuisine World Summit.
Largely self-taught, after years of experimenting, Lo Coco finally opened his restaurant “I Pupi” in 2009, near Palermo, Italy. In 2014 he received his first Michelin star and now he will have his residency at Roberto’s from October 28th -31st and will be delighting guests with his signature dishes along with those prepared especially for the summit.
Bartolini, returning to Roberto’s for the second year running, achieved his first Michelin star at the age of 29 and his second at 33, becoming the youngest Italian Chef in history to be recognized with 2 stars. He is world renowned for his raw natural talent and ingenuity, which blends classic Italian dishes with contemporary techniques and will be delighting guests with a four course set menu featuring signature dishes from November 2nd – 5th.
Taking over the kitchens of some of Dubai’s Italian restaurants guests will experience live cooking master classes, demonstrations and special limited edition menus designed and prepared by the master chefs.
The 7th Italian Cuisine World Summit is held under the patronage of the Italian Embassy of Abu Dhabi, the Italian Consulate in Dubai and the Italian Industry and Commerce Office in the UAE.
